my sister feeding cow milk for her son who is 2 month old he gained weight but I feed breast milk my daughter is not gaining weight she is 7 month old why

A. Hi, Please tell her not to give cow's milk before 6 months to baby as it is not easily digestible. Mother's milk is easily digestible that's why baby gains less weight in comparison to formula but mother's milk gives immunity to baby which you would not get from formula or cow's milk. Immunity is very important. Generally babies get their weight thrice by 1 year and twice by 6 month of their birth weight. Please give exclusive breastfeeding till 6 month. After that you can give weight gaining food
