Q.
My nipples are so dry that they appear flaky and cracks up on their own which leads to very painful breast feeding and they are very itchy too.... I apply nipcare also doesn’t work. Wt to do

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. do apply ghee as well.. if it still like that only, do consult with ur doctor in person to rule out the local skin infection which may need specific treatment.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. Fresh breast milk can help heal damaged nipples, so try massaging a few drops into them before and after feeds. Change nursing pads frequently if they become damp to reduce the risk of bacterial or fungal infections, including thrush.
