Q.

my newborn keeps on crying at night. he only wants to sleep on my lap. If he is kept on bed for while he starts crying.

A. Infantile colic is a very common thing in babies . Some amount of gaseous trouble and colic pain will be there even after all medicine or proper burping . This will be normal as baby grow . Gastica drop can be given 3 times and meftal spas drop for pain .

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if ag heain required and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever
