Q.
My milk supply reduced suddenly at 4 1/2 months, my baby became lean! Pumping output earlier it was 120-150 ml now it is less than 60ml ! What should I do ? Why it is reduced? Suggest me good tip. Already on Lactare tablet taking 1 tablet 3 times a day.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. exclusive breastfeeding has to be continued till completion of 6 months of age
and you have to drink plenty of water and at least 500 ml milk everyday as well as homemade foodd from cereals pulses vegetable milk and fruits daily e as well as you can go for shatavari supplement which will also help in increasing the breast milk formation (eg lactonic granules, galact granules etc )
also take mueltivitamins iron calcium and vitamin d along with folic acid. follow all this steps to increase breast milk formation.
