My lo birth weight was 2.2 kg and she is 3.2 kg. she is 2 mnth old. is she under weight ? wat to do for increase in weight?

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. dear mum, a weight gain of 1 kg in 2 months is a normal weight gain, do not worry. baby should gain at least 500 grams per month and should double the birth weight by 6 months. for healthy weight gain, exclusively breastfeed till 6 months complete.

Baby weight should be triple in a year according to birth weight and after one year baby gain weight slowly. And according to that babies weight is totally fine. So you should definitely not worry about it at all. We should be totally on mother’s milk and there is no need to give anything
