Q.
My girl who is about to turn 7 months old. Iman has a tightness on her chest, whenever she is coughing, she coughs up mucus. Please suggest any medicine or syrup help me.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. if your baby is having any cough most of the time either it could be allergic or infective which needs proper evaluation. initially you can start giving steam inhalation to your baby which will help in relieving symptoms toto some extent and will make the baby comfortable.cough suppressants are usually avoided in children,it needs to be examined first before giving any kind of medicine. so it will be better if you consult your doctor for proper guigdance to suggest you proper medication along with proper dosage for the kind of problem.
