My daughter will be 11 months on the 14th of Jan, she is a breastfed baby, she drinks ally of milk from me, now she hates it, only 3-4 times a day she drinks and I feel like I have to force her otherwise she won’t care to drink, I’m concerned as it is she is a small eater it’s worrying me a lot. Is this normal?

A. Hi yes, I have started her on solids. She’s very constipated ever since I add so much fibre to her diet still no change on top of that now she isn’t drinking much of milk from me, I think she’s teething as well because she’s chewing on things a lot, she has a cold too.

A. Hi, Have you started semi - solids for your baby? .Most babies start food rejection around this age. Mostly due to teething or any other illness or deficiency. Try giving your baby variety of food with different taste, colour and texture. Sit down with your plate when you are feeding your kid, it will encourage her to see that you are also eating the same food. Try to make the baby eat while playing. Restrict juices. Limit the intake of milk. As liquids fills the baby tummy leaving less space for solids.
