Q.
my daughter is having cold and cough since a month...it started with fever.. which subsided in 3 days..chest xray is normal... today again my daughter got fever..which was not coming down...i took her to doctor and he said her tonsils are swollen and gave medicines...but medicine seems too much..i have attached the prescription..n also I'm giving augmetin DDS twice a day...so not giving zipod syrup...plz doctor help me what I can avoid..or is it necessary to take all the medicines..

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given.
along with that cough expectorant ajnd decongestant with antialulergic medicine given.
steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.
