Q.

My daughter is 6 months 23 days old and her current weight is 6.5 kg. Is this weight appropriate for her age? Please recommend some remedies if not so.

A. weight is good for her age.. Start by offering small amounts of solids once a day.. preffer day time to feed. Follow three day rule. Breastfeeding or formula feeding should continue alongside the solid foods, as they still form an essential part of the infant diet till 1 year. Give vegetables (eg pumpkin, potato, sweet potato, carrot puree) fruits (eg cooked pears/apple, ripe banana) . Moong Daal water, rice kangi. Ragi porridge, rice porridge.

A. Hi Your child was approximately 3 KG at the time of birth and this is an excellent weight since I am not aware about that because you have not mention that so I can tell you if it is double or more than double by this is that this is excellent okay so you can calculate it since you must be aware about the birth weight of the child
