By 9-10 months baby will start to do actions which u are teaching. 
now the Baby is too small to catch and recall. 
so no need to worry.

repetition or copying is attained by 9 to 12 month of age. it's quite early maintain hydration and keep a track on urine output maintain hygiene in the area clean with Luke warm water
