A. My daughter is also 5 months and cant roll over. She sits and stand with our help but cant roll over. Actually if their head is heavier than the body then it is little difficult for them to roll over. Dont worry its absolutely normal.

A. It's normal to feel concerned, but keep in mind that babies develop at their own pace, and some may take a little longer to reach certain milestones like rolling over. Typically, babies begin to roll over between 4 to 6 months, but some might do it a little earlier or later. If your daughter is 5 months old and hasn't rolled over yet, there are a few things you can try to encourage her: How to Encourage Rolling Over: 1. Tummy Time: Giving your baby more tummy time during the day strengthens the muscles in her neck, back, and arms, which are essential for rolling over. Make sure she spends time on her tummy while awake and supervised. 2. Engage with Toys: Place toys or objects of interest just out of her reach during tummy time, which might encourage her to reach and eventually roll to get to them. 3. Help Her Practice: Gently guide her body through the rolling motion to help her understand how it feels. Roll her from tummy to back and back to tummy. 4. Limit Time in Swings or Seats: Try to reduce the time spent in bouncers, swings, or seats where she is reclined, as this limits opportunities to practice moving around and developing muscle control. When to Consult a Doctor: If your baby shows no interest in trying to roll over by 6 months. If she seems unusually stiff or floppy. If she isn’t moving her arms or legs as expected. If she’s otherwise active, alert, and developing other skills, there’s likely no need for immediate concern. However, if you’re worried, you can always bring it up at her next pediatric checkup for peace of mind.
