my daughter is 4yr 7 month old her flu vaccine is given 1 yr ago so it's 2nd dose is required or not

For your 4 years 7 months old daughter, whether a second flu vaccine dose is needed depends on her previous flu vaccination history: If this was her first-ever flu vaccine: Then two doses are recommended in the first year. These two doses should be given at least 4 weeks apart. So if only one dose was given last year, she likely missed the second dose, and it won't be effective enough. Going forward: The flu vaccine is recommended once every year for all children above 6 months of age. So, yes, she should get her annual flu shot this year (even if last year’s second dose was missed, give her this year’s full dose). If you're unsure whether she had a previous flu shot before last year, or whether she received one or two doses, it’s best to check her vaccination record or ask her pediatrician.
