Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. keeping food in mouth and not chewing properly is many times seen in children.
this can occur either due to loss of appetite as well as nutritional deficiency.
this can also occur due to tv mobile or screen time excess.
sometimes it is a part of habit in which the child does not like to chew solid food but can gulp down liquid to semisolid food.
it may also be associated when the child is not having any hunger but the parents want to feed the child.
please create interest by making different healthy recipes from food and eat along with the child.
use different colourful fruits vegetables and plates and spoons to create interest in the eyes of the child.
avoid tv mobile during family dinner or lunch dor breakfast time.
involve the child in the food making process to create an interest.
inculcate healthy habits of eating food by practicing the same thing whden you eat the food.
RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. It is a common behaviour of the child but you do not have to give it into the semi solid consistency as this way you are going to actually encourage your child to eat in the same situation you will have to teach your child how to eat this food to the food if so explain it to the child if you keep holding it into your mouth your teeth are going to get spoiled you will have cavities and you’ll have to go to Dr so try to make your child understand the replication of It
