Q.

My daughter is 4 months old and she is a formula fed baby. For the past 1 week she has been resisting milk while she is awake, even though she is hungry she will eat her hand, and various other things, however while feeding milk she completely resists it. Further, she prefers drinking milk only while she is sleepy and very tired due to which she gets fussy and it becomes a task to feed her and at the same time make her sleep. Lastly, when she sleeps for long hours it becomes easy for us to feed her while she is sleepy. Is there any way we can feed her while she is awake and hungry rather than to wait for her to get tired and then have milk.

A. Hi mom This is due to teething. When the babies are on teething they suck hands or try to put everything in mouth. Give ur baby teethers like babyhug teethers that put pressure on gums and give relief to baby from pain and itching during teething. U can start to give calcarea phos homeopathy medicine to soothe teething pain by consulting your doctor for the same.
