Q.

my daughter is 2yrs 10 months old..she had little cold n cough but in Friday night she got 100 fever...so i gave her calpol at 11...than on saturday i gave her calpol at 10.30 am..than at 7 pm...than today i gave her calpol in afternoon 12.30 pm n now again at 8pm her fever raised to 101....is this normal...should i worry...bcoz her gap is abnormal

A. fever for more than 3 days is not a simple fever and examination is required for the same and you can continue to give the fever medicine like sparacetamol and if needed higher medicine like ibugesic. kindly do body sponge and give fluids at regular interval and meet the doctor immediately s

Q. my 3 yrs daughter has got fever and cold from yest afternoon...i have given medicines as follow 1) Friday 3.30 pm- calpol 250 at 100 temp 2) Friday 9.30 pm - calpol 250 at 100.5 temp 3) Friday midnight at 12.40 am- ibugesic at 100 temp( fever didn't came down with calpol) 4) saturday early mrng 7.30 am- calpol 250 at 100 temp 5) saturday mrng 10.30 am- ibugesic at 101.5 temp as fever didn't came down from calpol 6) saturday afternoon 2.30 pm - calpol 250 at 100 temp 7) saturday eve 5 pm - ibugesic at 100.5 as temp didn't came down from calpol 8) saturday eve 7.40 pm - calpol 250 at 100 temp I even visited her pediatrician and he said continue same and no need for antibiotic or change of med...i m just worried bcoz her fever has not come down from 99 since yest night...n such has never happened that ibugesic is also not working
