my daughter is 21 month old. She was having fever 101.3 in evening 5.30 pm. I gave P 120 6 ml.
Now she is having temperature 99.9.
What should I do?

Fever  is the illness caused by reaction of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body and only when the temperature is above 99F it is considered as fever, so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again required and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever in between the doses ,but if it continues further you should consult your doctor for proper treatment. if the temperature is not controlled by paracetamol alone meftal p can be given in between as a single dose but only under medical guidance.these medicines will also work to relieve any pain or body ache to a good extent. butbot in case of infection in which the fever is associated with other problems also it is recommended to get the clinical assessmentn done and get a proper treatment done by a doctor.

If Six hours have passed then you should just repeat the medicine once again because you can repeat these medicines after every six hours so it is still fever it’s almost hundred degrees only so you give this medicine and start doing cold sponging that will help in bringing down the fever
