My daughter is 19 days old suffering from cough and nose block .Please suggest what can we do ...

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given.
alondg with that cough expectorant and decongefstant with antiallergic medicine given.
steam inhalationf can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.

please do the following things:
keep breastfeeding your child as per his requirements .
use nasal saline drops for blocked nose.
put bowl of chopped onion and garlic pods near your child bed , approx 1.4 feet far overnight , it will help to cure congestion.
provide apt sun light at least 20 minutes a day.
