Q.
My daughter is 1.3 years old . She has not missed any vaccines till date. Today she got hurt in her finger by small and sharp iron piece and little blood was visible. My question is that whether tetanus injection is need in this case or not . Tetanus vaccine was already given to her. Pls advice .

Sunita MahatoMom of 2 children4 years agoA. if there is a sharp cut and bleeding it will be advisable to get checked and follow the doctor..
as per need doctor will guide you..
you should clean the area with antiseptic liquid as dettol or salvon..
you can apply boroplus or boro line on the cut..
