Q.

My daughter has had a fever for the last 8 days... The doctor has prescribed Meftal and later crocin 120 syrup.. still it only affects for 7-8 hours then again get fever.. also it never goes above 101 degree, stays below that temp.. She is active, playing, sleeping well but fever returns after 7-8 hours.. please suggest

A. we had done a blood and urine test as per the doctor's recommendation.. Typhoid, dengue, malaria, jaundice all test results are negative but fever is there.

A. jjt. if there is no relief it is better you see your doctor for proper examination particularly physical examination if there is need for doing investigations to find out the problem and treatment ok

A. If it has been eight days I’m going to suggest you to get a blood test done for your child that is going to give you better clarity to why the fever is lasting for such a long time and what kind of medication would be required by the child
