Q.

my daughter had some discharge in her ear and cold she is 22 day's old the doctor prescribed this medicine (RHINIL DROPS) but in drops it have mentioned (FDC SHOULD NOT BE USED IN CHILDREN BELOW 4YRS OF AGE)... after noticing it i again asked the doctor sir can I give this medicine he is saying yes can be given...pls need experts & doctors advise!!!

A. Your child is a newborn child and if it is not meant to be given under the age of four years then you should recheck with your doctor with the doubt that you have did you mention that you have read up and stuff and still the doctor advises then you can but just to be on the safer side I do suggest you to 1st consult an ENT doctor regarding this
