#asktheexperts Good Morning doctor my kids is 2.5 months old and have cold,doctor gave her maxtra drops. today I see some discharge from ear.can you please suggest ear drops to use

First of all consult an ent specialist and check if the child is having any middle ear infection and if there is any rupture of tympanic membrane.
Don’t take medications randomly

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. Ear infections are common in babies and young children. Your doctor may prescribe antibiotics to treat the ear infection. Children under 6 months are usually given an antibiotic. If your child is over 6 months old and the symptoms are mild, antibiotics may not be needed.
