my daughter devanshi 8 month her weight 7 kg is that ok or not....

A. Hi Yes weight is absolutely normal At six months weight should be double to birth weight Give Foods like potato, pumpkin, sweet potato, dal, ghee, ragi, almonds, yogurt, eggs and milk help the baby to gain weight Please take a pediatricians suggestion before you start any of these foods As always follow a 3 day test rule

A. It depends on the birth weight of the child. Baby should double the birth weight by 6 months. Also the average weight gain per month is 300-500grams in the first 6 months. Baby should triple birth weight by one year.

It is little less right now you need to focus upon increasing the weight of the child is currently I would suggest you with increasing the protein intake for the child at what you can do for the child and that is what is going to be helpful in increasing the weight gain an overall growth of your child
