my daughter coughs only in night sometimes in between morning too and day time she is perfectly fine.Its been 15days even after mediation she is not completely recovered.she will be 2years old on 12march

Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to the typfe of cough its prescribed. if any fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce fthe temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .
