Dear consult doctor to rule out medical reason for weight gain  various dietary modification would be required  give whole grains, oats avoid refined cereals, bread high fibre and good protein seasonal fruits and vegetables, give low fat milk and Milk products avoid fruit juices give whole fruit  avoid ghee on top of food   set a positive example for your child, create a conducive environment for building healthy eating habits and be an active family.  dont buy, store unhealthy foods  limit gadget time
