Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. that is very normal that small children after taking breastfeeding will regurgitate small amount of milk.
if the amount of milk is less than 10 ml no need to worry.
this curd like milk is normal and no treatment is required.
but if the quantity of milk is more than you have to rule out any gastric problem the child might be having (can give drops domstal 3 drops then wait for half hr and then give milk)
you can decrease the the regurgitation by giving more burping time to the child.
also due to common pathway at the backf between nasal cavity and the oral cavity the milk can come out through the nasal cavity also during the regurgitation and vomiting which is fnormal
meet your dr if vomiting is in large quantity and happening again and again
RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. I’ll tell you two things over here First that having vomiting is very common due to stomach reflux it’s very common with K then you can see this issue till the age of 6 to 8 months but for initial 60 days you are meant to feed your child every two hours after that you should feed your child only on demand that will help and for burping keep your child on the shoulder for 15 to 20 minutes and gently pack the back and gently rub the back that will help even if the child does not burp that will help in better digestion
