Yes she can give Aptamil. it's closest to breastmilk and contains prebiotics which strengthens baby's gut and boosts their immunity. but do consult with your doctor before introducing anything new to your baby.

Consult a doctor before deciding on an fm. She can give fm for some days. But bm is best in any case. nothing can replace it.

it's better to continue with the breast milk itself. 
if the mother is not feeling well let her take the help from other people for remaining all the activities of the child and other kind of work at home. 
but for the breastfeeding paath she can continue it as once she will stop it then baby may not be able to take it again . breast milk is the best immunity booster among all other things
