Q.

My child will be one month old next week. She takes breastfeeding for 15 -20 minutes and asks for it after every 1.5- 2 hours. At midnight she takes breastfeeding only twice. So wanted know whether the time duration and time interval between two feeds is fine enough for her age or not?

A. Hello mom At least for next three months mostly doctors advise even to feed your baby in two hours gap even at night. So you should make your baby up and feed in every two hours gap. If your baby is taking feed for 20 to 40 minutes at a time then that is sufficient. There is no need to give anything else till your baby turned six months old
