my child is 1 months and 7 days old, his umbilical cord area is suddenly start swelling, is it normal for infant or should I go to doctor

till then avoid any home treatments and maintain proper hygiene over the area. and try to consult as soon as possible

It will probably be due to umbilical hernia one time it is going to be good for you to get a physical evaluation done of your child with your paediatrician after that only you can be much sure about it and according to that whatever treatment is requires a doctor would advise you accordingly
