Q.
my child has multiple swollen lymph node around neck and ear...he has recently recovered from throat infection and was on antibiotics for 5 days and allergy medicine for 3 days...has rashes all over the face..was there on chest as well but it's gone now...but still face rashes is there...but lymph node has not subsided yet...is it due to recent of yes how many days it will take to subside

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 11 m old boy4 years agoA. If a person has no signs of an infection, a swollen lymph node might be a sign that the body has successfully fought off an infection. It is safe to wait for about 2 weeks to see if the swelling decreases. If the swelling does not go away, or if the lymph node is hard or larger than 1.5 cm in diameter, see a doctor.
