My bby is having these red rashes on his hip area since today only I m worried about this

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. here in this query Red colour rash over the skin could be most of the times some allergic reaction where itching is also present . If there is any fever associated with generalised rash it could be viral exanthamatous fever .
If swellintg or pain is there along with rash if may be some infection or trauma so it needs to be evaluated .
Local application of anti itch lotion or soothing agents like calamine or atarax anti itch lotion will help initially.

Without proper physical examination it is not possible to conclude anything. It is advisable to consult your child’s doctor for evaluation and advice. Try applying pure coconut oil on the affected area. Good luck and take care.
