my baby will complete six months nxt week . plz help me with a diet chart and ideas about how to introduce semi solids to him . what are the fruits, vegetables and other things can be introduced at this stage?

A. Soft, mashed and hygienically prepared foods like you can begin with porridges (like rice, Ragi, wheat flour , moong dal and rice flour mix) , kheer then dal-rice with vegetables, veg khichadi, soft mashed fruits, curds. later mashed paneer cheese, Vegetable Daliya consistency of food should be like that of ghee avoid water thin foods like thin dals and rice water, soups. Squeeze lemon in baby's food for iron absorption. you can give fruits like banana chickoo apple papaya. vegetables like pumpkin, carrot, beet root, sweet potato, green leafy vegetables like spinach. start with 3-4 tsp and then about half katori per meal about 2 to 3 meals per day. give 1 food for about 3-6 days for baby to accept and to see how baby tolerates it then introduce another new food
