my baby was admitted last week in hospital for UTI and was on Iv for 5 days..
she we discharged with prescribed oral medicines which she is still taking...But post coming back from hospital we saw she again had high fever going upto 102.5 dgs. The next day we see she developed hand foot mouth disease. we showed to doc, mentioned she got viral infection hence fever.. But it's been 4 days and again today she is getting fever on every 5 hrs..
pls suggest ..what should I do

your history tells us that the child is suffering from viral fever and in viral fever you have to give only symptomatic treatment that is for fever have to give paracetamol(max 4 times per day if needed) and plenty of water to drink and at least 60 to 70% of the regular diet and if the fever continues beyond 3 days then meet the doctor
please do body sponge that is body wiping to decrease the body temperature with wet cotton cloth.

it is very common that children will fall ill again and again that is within one or two months sometimes before 7 years of age. 
this falling ill is just steps to to immunity build up in these children and you will see that after 7 years they will not fall ill that much frequently. z
till that time just take care of regular diet made from cereals pulses vegetable milk and fruits and do not give outside packetz foods and complete the vaccination of the child

but her fever had reduced on Sunday...Max 2 tms in 24 hrs

but today again she is getting fever on rotation of 4-5 hrs of temp 101/2
 She has got hand foot mouth disease

and fever is there for 4 days now
