my baby was 4years 3 months age. she is suffering with fever and cough we use paracetamol and megenamic acid suspension syrup (meftagesic) is this useful or not this age group. can u suggest any fever syrup for fast recovery.

A. you have to give first paracetamol to the child and after that also if the fever continues beyond 2 hours then only you have to go for higher medicines like mefenamic acid and yes it can be given if needed

A. Crocin DS Can be given as per the current weight of the child I would like to tell you the fever does not subside within 72 hours then you’ll have to go for a further investigation that I could be due to any other infection or any other reason like viral or something so you can give this medicine as of now
