Q.
my baby was 23 month old ,but speak only few words like baba ,maa,fan,ac but not speak somany words is it ok as per her age ?

Author of questionFather of a 4 yr old girl2 years agoA. yes she follows all commands,she also give me water bottle from refrigerator when I ask her.he also telling somany words but not understable by us.
we leave in nuclear family,only we both husband wife,

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. the child will be able to say meaningful words by 15 months to 18 months of age and by 2 years of age the child will be able to say 2 or 3 words with meaning in a sentence.
sometimes the child may not be able to talk but the child would be able to understasnd and follow the commands and orders given by the parents.
if you feel that the child is having some delay it is advisable to meet the pediatrician who will decide if the child requires any therapy or not in the form of speech therapxy as well as other modes of therapy for development in social and language milestone.
