Q.
My baby took 45 days vaccinations, she is crying with pain, how many hours does the pain last and how can we reduce the pain ?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain.
paracetamol can be given maximumx 4 times per day.
you can also apply ice over the injection site.
if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel.
vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyondx 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

Even if there is no fever you can give paracetamol to the child for fever or without fever for pain also and you can keep cold ice cube on that area where the vaccination has been given that will help in setting down the swelling and pain it can for a day or
