Q.
My baby stick to weight at 5.5kgs since last 15 days.. Is it sign of worry? His birth weight has been 1.96 kg and he is 4 month and 4 days old now. I delivered him at 36 weeks of my pregnancy.

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. There is actually a very good weight gain for a baby who was 1.96 kg so don’t worry about it and continue feeding as usual. Baby weight should be triple in a year according to birth weight and after one year baby gain weight slowly so you should calculate according to that and according to that baby weight is totally fine so you should not worry about it at all. Baby should be totally your mother’s milk and there is no need to give anything else to your baby tell you baby turned six months old
