my baby is two months old. she had infected cold when she is 28 days old and we cosulted a doctor. And then it was ok for one week and again the cold started and went to tha doctor again and prescribed medicine but still she is not recovering. what will be the reason and what is the solution for this?

Cold is a viral disease that usually occurs with general symptoms,mainly nasal congestion .at times it can be allergic too.
steam inhalation would help in relieving congestion n soothing the irritation in nose and throat .you can give febrex AF/maxtra in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms but only under medical guidance.for fever can give calpol 3 times a day .no self treatment should be done.give antibiotics only when prescribed.it may take upto two-three weeks also in recovery so dont worry if gradually symptoms are getting relieved,child will resume normal activities and eating thereafter.can give simple homemade food that's easily digestible can give bjsanana too and avoid citrus fruits if required. can give bath also with lukewarm water.You should keep the room temperature comfortable for the baby and do not expose the baby to direct air of AC if used.
