Q.
My baby is turning 6 months in 10 days , but his weight is not growing much. He is 5.5 kg and his height is 63cm , he is totally on breastfeed . Should I worry about his weight or is normal

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. you start weaning.See when baby has any new complain then better avoid any self medication. Show to a doctor for right and timely diagnosis and treatment. Thays a safe procedure.

It is said to be ideal if the baby doubles its birth weight by 6 months and triples by one year completion. Once your baby completes 6 months you can start giving your baby semi solids and water along with daily breastfeeding. Speak to your doctor for further advice. Good luck and take care.
