Q.
my baby is on solids and breastfeeding as well. She has not passed motion from last 3 days. What should be done? Is it normal? it's been 20 days when I first started solids for her.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially thhyhe semi solid food has been started after 6 months .
you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .

When you start with food in the initial time a little bit of constipation can be seen but over the period the system is going to be better try to give more of water to the child on regular basis that’s going to be very much beneficial in the current situation
