my baby is having eruption/rash over chest and back kindly advise

Thank you for your response...He had moderate fever intermittently for a couple of days about 5 days back and cough ...Fever subsided within a couple of days and cough has also subsided a day before ...Any additional advice ...Thanks once again

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Red Colour Rash over the body if present could be some allergy rashes which may be of sudden onset along with itching.
or it could be viral exanthematous rash where the the onset of rashes vdis there along with fever or assosiated symptoms. and it could be some infection also which needs proper examination.
Application of calamine lotion or Anti itch lotion like Ritch lotion can be done for soothing along with antiallergic medications initially.
