Q.
My baby is Hardly 15 days old and wants to be hold by someone even in sleep this habit is causing a lot of stress to my wife can you help

sheebu ShahMom of a 5 yr 2 m old girl4 years agoA. Things will change after few days, better swaddle the baby at the time of naps/night. And keep the room dark during naps/night. This will teach the baby gradually that "it's sleep time".

sheebu ShahMom of a 5 yr 2 m old girl4 years agoA. I don't call it a habit (they just feel comforted when held), I have seen babies sleeping on their own...and some don't (like mine). She is 6+ right now, and does the same if I hold her. But she doesn't do it in the night, she sleeps in her bed.

And she’s right about it. But if you will hold your baby all the time then it will be difficult for you and your wife because baby will never want to be on bed and sleep on it. Baby will sleep only in arms whenever you will keep on your lap. So avoid doing it.
