My baby is getting running nose in every 2-3 days... what precautions should I take to avoid in long run

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prescribed.
if anfy fever is there pabracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

Wash hands often before touching baby
Wear mask use hand sanitiser
Keep baby’s surroundings clean and dust free
Use saline nasal drops
Give adequate feeding
Bm contains natural antibiotics to cure infection like cold cough naturally
