Q.

My baby is five months old. He is going through diarrhoea for last two days and had done vomitting as well last night. I am offering him ORS but he is not accepting it. What else I can try for recovery from dehydration ( doctor has advised medicines separately)

A. it is the gut inf. Loose stool is due to viral infection or any other . And is treated by just probiotics like econorm and o r s to drink for prevention of any type of dehydration . If any vomiting then emset can be given for that . Also avoid milk for some days
