Q.
my baby is finding it very difficult to pass motion.. and stool is very hard. please suggest some cure on this. Due to less breast milk supply, he is being fed formula milk. he is 3 months old

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. normally hardness of the stool is not seen when you are giving only breastfeeding to the child.
it is advisable to continue only breastfeeding and nothing else till completion of 6 months of age.
if still the hard dstool continues you have to visit the doctor to find the cause.
but if you are giving formula milk then there is a possibility that the milk is not properly digested by the child anxd you will have to change the brand of formula milk.
