my baby is eleven months old and from past three- four days he suddenly throws solid food after eating.This has happened two to three times what could be possible reasons behind this

Actually he is not sick and is active and what exactly happens is when I take him to burp after giving him food while burping he vomits whatever eaten. Could quantity of solid food could be the reason ? should I reduce the amount of food ? how much quantity should be given to an eleven months old
