Q.
My baby is about to turn 8months old but in one month she gained only 100gm weight otherwise she is active.is this any problem??She was also teething in this month.

ExpertDr. Garima VermaDentist4 years agoA. if your baby is active it is fine. still you can visit a pediatrician for a routine examination.
massage the gums and give silicone teethers to chew on them. start brushing as soon as the first tooth erupts.

slow weight gain might be caused by teething.
as such no need to worry.
just offer food like boiled mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes,rice , fruits like banana, papaya etc.
give massage to your child daily which will also help.
