Q.
My baby is 9 months old but still has not started to crawl or trying to sit. If we make him sit or stand he can do it only with someone’s support. Is this ok or a matter of concern? Till what time should I wait before reaching out to doctor?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 10 m old boy4 years agoA. many times crawling can occur after 1 year of age and sometimes it may be absent and the child may directly stand with support and later walk without support so just take care of regular diet and regular encouragement

See If your child has not learnt to sit independently as of now on its on then your child has already missed a milestone and a child learns to stand after the age of 10 to 11 months so as of now if your child is not standing that is fine but the concern is that your child is not even sitting so consult your doctor immediately
