Q.
My baby is 9 month old and her birth weight was 2.27kg now her weight is 7.17kg and her height is 68cm . I giving her 3 meals and 2 snack meals. Despite this her weight increased 500gms in last 2 months.

babies double their birth weight by age of 4 to 6 months and later triple by age of 1
baby this age should be given soft foods
gradually increase the quantity of foods
also you may include dryfruits panner ghee rice roti dal egg yolk chicken

SonuMom of 2 children2 months agoA. hello mom....ur baby's weight is fine she already tripled her birth weight so theirs nothing to worry shes having a healthy weight gain.... after starting solids baby is gaining 500 grams is also fine no issues....give ur baby healthy homemade foods....n breastfeed or formula feed on demand....take care....
