My baby is 8 months, her born weight is 2.6, now she is 7.8 kg, is this normal wright?

A. Dear mum, weight of 7.8 kg is absolutely normal for 8 months old baby, considering a birth weight of 2.6 kg. Baby should double the birth weight by 6 months and triple the birth weight by one year.
