Q.

my baby is 6 months old. he is suffering from heavy cough... i gav him phenylephine HCl and chlorpheniramine malete drops... but there is no recovery... please suggest good drop for my baby

A. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after afg proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough. if fever is fthere paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

Then you should go ahead with nebulising the child as well I think that’s going to be one good option for you because that actually helps a lot in reducing down the congestion from the chest and throat of the child and over the period you will see that your child is going to feel betterWrite Your Answer Here
